Personal data\u2018 includes all information directly or indirectly identifiable to you or others. Processing\u2019 includes almost anything that can be done with personal data; from recording and storage to distribution and deletion. MijnhuisinItalie is the \u2018controller\u2019 as defined in the General Data Protection Regulation for the processing of personal data covered by this privacy statement. This means that MyhouseinItaly determines the purposes and means of the relevant processing of personal data. When processing your personal data, we act in accordance with applicable privacy legislation, including the European General Data Protection Regulation (AVG) and the Dutch Implementation Act AVG. This privacy statement only applies to processing of personal data for which Mijnhuisinitalie is the controller.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Personal data we process<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>MyHomeinItaly processes your personal data because you use our services and\/or because you provide them to MyHomeinItaly yourself. Below is an overview of the personal data that are processed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First name and surname<\/li>\n<li>Address details<\/li>\n<li>Telephone numbers<\/li>\n<li>Email address<\/li>\n<li>Date of birth<\/li>\n<li>Place of birth<\/li>\n<li>Nationality<\/li>\n<li>BSN<\/li>\n<li>VAT number<\/li>\n<li>Chamber of Commerce and tax data<\/li>\n<li>Any other data we obtain from you that we use for the purposes described below.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For what purpose and on what basis are personal data processed<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mijnhuisinitalie processes your personal data for the following purposes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Calling or emailing you if necessary to carry out our services<\/li>\n<li>Informing you about our services<\/li>\n<li>Informing you about properties in Italy<\/li>\n<li>Mijnhuisinitalie also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data needed to identify you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Automated decision-making<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Based on automated processing, Mijnhuisinitalie never makes decisions about matters that could (significantly) affect individuals. These are decisions made by computer programmes or systems, without involving a human being (e.g. an employee of Mijnhuisinitalie).<\/p>\n<p><strong>How long we keep personal data<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mijnhuisinitalie does not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following personal data:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First and last name, Address details, Phone numbers and Email addresses: these are kept by us for as long as you use our services<\/li>\n<li>Other personal data you have provided to us yourself (search profile): these will be kept by us for as long as you use our services\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If there is a legal obligation, for example under applicable anti-money laundering legislation, the above data may be kept for longer, but no longer than required by law.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For data that forms part of our financial records, such as invoices and related customer data, a statutory retention period of 7 years after the end of the financial year is applied. This is to comply with the tax retention obligation of the Inland Revenue.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sharing personal data with third parties<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>MijnHuisinItalie provides personal data to third parties only when necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>View, modify or delete data<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw any previously given consent for data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by our company. You also have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to send the personal data held by Myhouseinitalie in a computer file to you or another organisation named by you. If you wish to exercise your right to object and\/or right to data portability or have other questions\/comments about data processing, please send an itemised request to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:mijnhuisinitalie@yahoo.com\">mijnhuisinitalie@yahoo.com<\/a>. To make sure that the request for inspection has been made by you, a copy of your identity document should be included. In this copy, black out a passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. Mijnhuisinitalie will respond to your request as soon as possible, but in any case within four weeks. Mijnhuisinitalie would also like to inform you that you have the possibility to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0How we secure personal data<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>MijnhuisinItalie takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to limit misuse of and unauthorised access to personal data. We specifically provide the following protection:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strict Access Restriction: Personal data is stored exclusively on a local computer used only by ourselves and protected by a strong, unique password.<\/li>\n<li>System protection: Our computer and operating system are continuously kept up-to-date with the latest security patches to prevent vulnerabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Antimalware Protection: We use active operating system security software (<em>Windows Defender<\/em>) to protect the data from viruses and malware.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Questions and complaints <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions about the privacy statement of MyHomeinItaly, you can of course <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mijnhuisinitalie.nl\/en\/contact\/\">contact<\/a> with us. If you believe that MijnHuisinItalie is processing your personal data in an improper or unlawful manner, or is in any other way in breach of applicable privacy laws, you can at any time lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of the country where you live or work, or where you believe the AVG is being violated.
