The team

Michiel combines a broad international experience in the financial sector with a passion for residential real estate. He worked in the banking sector in the Netherlands (Rotterdam and Amsterdam) and Italy (Milan) and started professional residential investing in 2013. His expertise includes buying, renovating and renting real estate, both in the Netherlands and Italy. Michiel has lived in Italy since 2006. He divides his time between Milan (Lombardy) and Liguria, travelling for MijnHuisinItalie throughout Italy for viewings and appointments with partners.

In his spare time, he likes to play tennis and he enjoys skiing, mountain hiking, football, chess, travelling and good Italian wine.

Michiel is fluent in Italian, English and Dutch.

Laura Faelli, born and raised in Milan, is a real estate consultant with over a decade of experience in the sector. Attention to document research, reliability and the ability to listen to clients' needs are her key attributes. Known for her hands-on mentality and transparent approach, she keeps her knowledge up-to-date by participating in technical seminars organised by the professional association of estate agents of which she is a member, F.I.M.A.A. Laura has a very extensive network.

In her spare time, she recharges herself with good food, travelling, cinema, music and volunteering, as well as walks with her dogs Cooper and Roxy.

She is fluent in Italian and English.

Francesca lived in the Netherlands for 13 years where she guided Italian tourists through the Netherlands as a guide. Francesca has also worked as an office manager for the Italian Government Tourist Board (ENIT) and as an account and office manager for a Swedish paper company in Amsterdam. She was born and raised in Genova but currently lives in Milan.

With her knowledge of both Italy and the Netherlands, Francesca is an indispensable link within MijnhuisinItalie, supporting clients and partners.

Francesca loves art and culture, travelling, mountain hiking, her family and her Irish terrier Conor.

She is fluent in Italian, English, Dutch and Spanish.
